Planning

Your group decided on a date and time, and the reservation is already made for your Reno Brew Bike experience. Whether you are newcomer, or you are a regular passenger, heed these suggestions for maximizing your Brew Bike tour fun, and improve the experience for everyone! Reno Brew Bike has you covered for techniques guaranteed to help make the most of your tour.

Plan out your tour start

You only have so much time on the Brew Bike, so getting your tour started right is a big factor.

  • If you made a private tour reservation, you will be the only person in your group with easy access to all the info in your booking confirmation email. Share it with everybody so that they know what they’re getting into.
  • Transportation and parking can be a pain throughout the Downtown Reno area. While our start location does have a parking lot, it can fill quickly. People who get dropped off are usually less stressed out.
  • Arriving early is always best, however, get there too early and the bike may not have yet arrived. Have a drink at one of the establishments that shares our lot: Black Rabbit Meads, Lead Dog Brewing Co., or Nevada Sunset, Basin and Range, or Great Basin wineries. Your pedal trolley will arrive 15 minutes before your tour start time.

Any time spent prepping your group for an efficient start will translate into more time touring on the Brew Bike. Nobody likes milling around in the parking lot while their 2 hours slips away.

Pre-select music and bar stops

If your group has reserved a partial bike with individual seats, the driver may or may not be able to incorporate your choices into the tour. A private tour reservation gets to call all the shots when it comes to music and bar choices. If your music library is sparse, recruit that friend who is always ready with a party music playlist to DJ for your pub crawl.

The tunes set the tone for the tour!

Maybe you have some pub crawl stops in mind? A newer bar, or a favorite haunt that you just can’t pass up? Tell your driver at the tour start and they will incorporate it into the route for you. If your attitude is more laid back, and want the driver to choose, that works too. We are happy to steer you to some of our favorite fun spots.

We recommend a drop off

All too often we see a group with lots of energy having a great time only to have it fizzle out when the tour ends back at our parking lot. Pick out a spot for food or bar games in the Downtown Reno or Riverwalk area, and we will be happy to drop you off. No reason for the good times to stop, just because the tour is over!

You don’t have to be a Brew Bike expert to get it right. Even passengers who are new to a pedal trolley tour can bar crawl like professionals with these techniques for maximizing your Brew Bike tour fun.
